Plumstone was started by two women who are avid gardeners and entrepreneurs.

Cynthia VanRenterghem (left) has her masters in International Economics and American Foreign Policy. After many years of working in the International Trade field, she left to focus on raising four kids. When not keeping tabs on her brood or launching this business, Cynthia’s favorite place to be is weeding through her perennial garden dreaming of bigger and better blooms.

Kerry VerMeulen (right) has a degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Sciences. After several years of remediating hazardous waste sites, Kerry moved abroad with her husband and young daughter. Kerry also has four children. Although she and her large family have lived in many places around the world, Kerry is always at home in a garden.
